Styling Guide
1. Practice Opening and Closing the Clip With the clip
side of the piece facing you, put both thumbs on each side of the clip and the index fingers at the front side of the piece.
Snap the clip open by applying pressure toward yourself with the index fingers. Similarly, close the
clip by applying pressure away from yourself with the thumbs.
Clip-in hair extensions are 100% human hair with snap combs attached. Simply part your own hair into
sections and, working from the bottom up, starting at the lowest point on the hairline, and using a tail comb or your index
fingers, creates a part where you wish to section off the hair.
Clip up the hair above the part and lift up all
the hair above the part and clip it out of the way.
Prepare the first weft
Select one of the wider back wefts.
Placement of the first weft
The clips should be placed on your own hair below the part so that the top of the weft is even with
the part.
(If working with a complete set, use the smallest width weft, beginning at the bottom and working
upward).
Snap open all the clips.

The clip should be placed by locating the lower middle area at the nape. Place the clip
on your hair just below the part. Moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut onto the roots of
your hair.
Styling Guide
Separating the hair using a tail comb or your index fingers, parting the hair the same as you
did with the first extension, then the second clip is next. Holding the middle clip in place with your left hand, use your
right hand to move the right edge of the weft as far as it will go around your head. As above, place the clip on your
hair just below the part, and moving the clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Placement of the sides and final top Clips
To attach these clips, hold the middle clip in place with your right hand, and use your left
hand to move the left edge of the weft as far as it will go around your head.
As in the previous two steps, place the clip on your hair just below the part, and moving the
clip downward, catch your hair in the clip and snap it shut.
Extensions vary in length.
Side and temple pieces can be cut to create layers around the face.
Placement Of The Side Wefts
The four 1 1/2 wefts are meant to be attached to the sides of your head. Using two for each side, attach
the first one just above the ear and the second one around the temple area.
Secure and comfortable, extensions become invisible in your own hair.
Check For Gaps
Now that all clips are attached, run your fingers along the weft to make sure it lies flat against
your head along the entire width. If there are any gaps, correct this by snapping the clip open, lifting it off hair and repositioning
it so that the weft lies flat.
HOW TO REMOVE YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS
Simply open the clip by gently pulling backwards until you hear the
clip release. Then gently remove the section being careful not to pull your hair. Gently lift up and away from the scalp.
Never try to remove a weft without first opening all the clips. Pulling or tugging to remove a weft can result in damaging
your own hair. It is suggested to move the placement of your sections slightly every couple of wearing. This will allow
the clip to rest in a different area preventing too much stress on your hair.
HOW TO CREATE FULLNESS AND LENGTH
Length may be created by using the larger 8" sections on the
back starting 2 fingers width above the back hair line and placing the second 8" section two fingers width above the first
section. Length and fullness may be created by combing the above techniques along with the instruction listed below. To create
fullness, start with the back sections and build up from the nape area, using your two fingers as a guide. Insert the 8" section
in the back first. After this is secure, move to the next section, inserting the 6" section in the back side (one on each
side at least two fingers above the first section).
Then move to the front sides, these will add additional style and help create fullness in these areas as well.
WASHING
Shampooing should be done only after 4 to 5 uses. Use a gentle flow of water holding your Hair Extensions by the
clip allowing the water to run down the hair shafts (do not scrunch or tangle hair). Apply a very small amount of regular
Shampoo gently working it through with your fingers and rinse thoroughly in the same manner as above.
CONDITIONING
Remove excess moisture with your fingers and apply a small amount
of any rinse or balsam Conditioner through your hair. Allow it to set for 1 to 2 minutes. Work the conditioner through gently
with your fingers and then rinse through. Gently blot dry to remove excess moisture.
DRYING
Use a wide tooth comb and very gently comb, holding from the clip. Start with the ends and
work upward to remove any tangles (being careful not to pull too hard). We recommend you let your Hair Extensions air dry.
If you do choose to blow dry, use the low cool setting.
STORAGE
Never store your Hair Extensions in a plastic package or store wet. Allow them to fully
dry and then store them.
QUESTIONS ABOUT MY HAIR EXTENSIOS
Q. What about showering or swimming with
my Hair Extensions?
A. Due to the nature of the Hair Enhancers - we DO NOT recommend this.
Q. Do I have to use all the sections every time I wear my Hair Extensions?
A. No. You may customize your look by using different combinations of sections in different
areas.
Q. Can I use more than one color of Hair Extensions at the same time?
A. YES! You can choose a color of a shade darker or lighter than your own hair. This
will create low lights or high lights (you can order a second set of Luxurious Hair Extensions for the purpose of highlighting).
This is also a great way to save your hair from the damage coloring can do. Choose 1 set
of clip ons to match your base color and choose 1 set in a shade lighter for highlights or darker for low lights. Clip them
in alternating the color. Can I make highlights and lowlights with clip on extensions?
Will hair extensions work with real thin hair?
Yes, depending on the severity of the thinning.
You will need enough hair to lie over the top of the weft and clip to cover it. Backcombing the hair above the weft can help
hide the weft and clip. Backcombing and hair spraying the hair where you will attach the clip helps make the clip even more
secure.
